Odd Grenland Join Rosenborg In Race For Man City Midfielder Nwakali
Published: October 25, 2016
Odd Grenland have joined Rosenborg in the race for the signature of Manchester City midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali.
Norwegian newspaper Fædrelandsvennen has reported that Odd and Tippeligaen champs Rosenborg have made contact with the entourage of the Nigeria youth international regarding a loan deal when the transfer window reopens.
IK Start are also interested in extending his stay in Kristiansand, but face competition from their illustrious rivals in Norway and teams based in Netherlands and France, according to Allwell Nwakali.
Nwakali, 19, is tied to Manchester City until the summer of 2018, and was farmed out on loan to IK Start after failing to obtain a work permit in England.
The former Golden Eaglets star has blossomed into one of the finest midfielders in Norway this season.
