Published: January 08, 2017
Peter Odemwingie is set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a calf injury in the warm-up before Rotherham United faced off against Oxford United in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Super Eagles star was initially named in the starting eleven but had to make way for Blackstock due to the injury.
Odemwingie will have to undergo further tests in order to determine the number of days he will have to spend in the treatment room.
The 2014 World Cup star has been offered a contract extension that will keep him at the Millers until the end of the 2016-2017 season, but nothing has been signed yet.
