Nigeria Hoping To Beat Germany To Bayer Leverkusen Prospects Ekene, Osawe & Okoye

The Nigeria Football Federation have set the wheels in motion to cap three exciting teenagers on the books of Bayer Leverkusen, who are all eligible to represent the German national teams.
The Punch claims that Super Eagles manager Rohr has opened a line of communication with Germany U18 international Chinedu Ekene regarding the possibility of committing his international future to the Super Eagles at senior level.
Rohr is also mulling over inviting striker Ufumwen Osawe and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye to one of the national teams having monitored their performances in Germany.
Ekene and Okoye are two of the top talents at Bayer Leverkusen and they were promoted to the A-Juniors at the end of last season.
Schalke 04 pair Sidney Sam and Dennis Aogo were eligible to represent Nigeria before they committed their international future to Germany.
