Southampton May Loan Out Promising Nigerian Striker To League Two Club
Published: January 20, 2017
Southampton frontman Olufela Olomola has been linked with a possible move to League Two club Cheltenham Town before the transfer window closes for business.
Gloucestershirelive.co.uk has reported that Cheltenham Town are in the market for a striker and the Nigerian could become their fifth loan signing.
London-born Olomola has made Southampton’s squad for competitive fixtures four times this season, and was handed his debut against Sunderland in the League Cup back in October, his only appearance to date for the Saints first team.
Aged 19, he joined Southampton from Arsenal in 2014 and has captained their U18 squad.
Assuming the transfer materializes, Olufela Olomola will join Brentford loanee Emmanuel Onariase at Whaddon Road.
