Ex-Brazil international Ronaldinho, who is now a consultant to KF Liria, recently pushed for the signing of highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Deji Joel after watching him undergo trials in Kosovo, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

Deji Joel represented Eco Academy plus the reserve team of  Atletico Madrid and Westerlo (Belgium) during his formative years as a footballer.

In case his name does not ring a bell yet, Joel was a member of the Golden Eaglets squad at the 2009 Fifa U17 World Cup, though he did not make a single appearance during the tourney hosted by Nigeria.

For the remainder of this season, the 24-year-old will play with the number 14 jersey at KF Liria.

Joel has penned a two-year contract with the Vala Superliga e Kosovës outfit.
