Official : Nigeria International Striker Pens Short-Term Deal With Coventry City

EFL League One side Coventry City have announced the signing of Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni, subject to the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.
The 34-year-old has penned a deal with the Sky Blues until the end of the 2016-2017 season, following a successful trial.
Aiyegbeni is well known in England for his appearances with Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers and Reading.
A product of Julius Berger, the veteran striker will play with the number 22 kit during his time at the Ricoh Arena.
Coventry City have the second worst attack in the English third-tier after 31 rounds, with only 25 goals scored and have the least number of points.
