Vanarama National League club Maidstone United have announced the signing of former Colchester United skipper Magnus Okuonghae.

The 31-year-old has appended his signature to a contract until the end of the 2016-2017 season.

Born in Nigeria, Okuonghae started off his career with the youth team of Fulham, followed by spells at Rushden & Diamonds,Aldershot Town, St Albans City, Crawley Town and Dagenham & Redbridge.

On his football resume, the defender has also played for Luton Town, Hartlepool United and Weymouth.
