Belgian club Gent advanced to the last sixteen thanks to their 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.  Spurs star Dele Alli was red carded in the 40th minute.

Moses Simon and Anderson Esiti made Gent’s starting line-up and the winger was replaced with 15 minutes left on the clock. Simon had his moment to equalize for the visitors, but could only find the side-netting two minutes before he was replaced.

Teammates Samuel Kalu and Rabiu Ibrahim watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game.
