Southampton Join Reading, Norwich In Scramble For Arsenal Nigerian Winger

Southampton have expressed an interest in signing Arsenal’s Nigerian winger Nathan Tella.

The Saints have backed up their interest by inviting the Gunners U18 star for trials, with a view to a transfer in the summer.

Nathan Tella is on the lookout for a new employer after he was told by the Arsenal hierarchy that he won’t be offered a new contract at the end of this season.

As previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Reading and Norwich City are keen to bolster their youth teams with the capture of the signature of the 17-year-old.

Jonathan Afolabi and Michael Obafemi played for the U18 squad of Southampton this season.
