Published: March 12, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel may end his association with League Two club Blackpool at the end of the 2016-2017 season.
The exciting winger is in the final three months of his contract with The Seasiders and is eager to join a team higher up the English Football pyramid.
However, Osayi-Samuel has to overcome a stumbling block to realize his transfer ambitions as Blackpool can exercise their option to prolong his stay at Bloomfield Road in June whether he wants to or not.
Sunderland, Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion have been mentioned as possible destinations if he departs Blackpool and he has been watched severally by Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton.
This season, he has recorded 33 appearances in all competitions and was named Blackpool’s Player of the Month for December.
