Super Eagles Striker Scores Brace On Debut For Chinese ClubNigeria international Chinedu Obasi bagged a brace on his competitive debut for Shenzhen FC in their 6-0 rout of Dalian Transcendence in the Chinese League One on Sunday.

The former Schalke 04 star doubled his team’s advantage in the 32nd minute when he was released into the box before slotting in a left-footed shot.

Three minutes after the restart, it became 3-0. Obasi found himself inside the 18-yard box and finished beautifully with his right foot despite the presence of four Dalian Transcendence players.

Harold Preciado (3) and Cameroonian striker Aboubakar Oumarou also registered their names on the scoresheet for Sven Goran Eriksson’s side.

In the January transfer window, Obasi put pen to paper on a one-year contract, and Shenzhen F.C retained the option of extending the agreement for twelve months at the end of the 2017 season.
