Onazi Informs Trabzonspor He Is Fine, Resumes Training
Published: March 30, 2017
Nigeria international Eddy Onazi has resumed training with Trabzonspor ahead of Sunday’s Super Lig match with Godfrey Oboabona’s Rizespor at Yeni Rize Åehir Stadium.
At first, there had been doubts over the midfielder’s availability for the game after he was stretchered off the pitch in the 25th minute of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Senegal at the Hive Stadium a week ago.
Trabzonspor coaches were delighted after Onazi returned to practice and informed them he was ready to train with the team.
This season, the former Lazio star has appeared 30 times for Trabzonspor in all competitions, scoring two goals which came on his debut against Kasimpasa in August.
Onazi only missed the match against Kayserispor because he had accumulated four bookings.
