Official: 2014 Nigeria World Cup Star Named To EFL Team Of The Week

Nigeria was represented in the latest Team of the Week announced by the English Football League on Monday, April 3.
Shola Ameobi’s fantastic display against Colchester United in which he bagged a brace was noticed as he made the top eleven outstanding players in the EFL.
The Nigeria international registered his name on the scorecard in the 34th and 73rd minute to take his tally to four goals in his last five matches for Notts County.
In a 3-4-3 formation, Ameobi was selected in attack alongside John Marquis (Doncaster Rovers) and Jonathan Kodjia (Aston Villa).
A former England youth international, the 35-year-old was in action for the Super Eagles against Iran and Bosnia at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
