Super Eagles Coach Rohr Invited By Ex-Protegee Agali To Scout NNL Side AS Racine Stars A very important guest was at the Agege Township Stadium, the venue of the meeting between AS Racine and Warri Wolves in the Nigerian National League on Wednesday, April 5.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can report that Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr watched the game from the stands and took note of possible players that can be invited to the national team ahead of the African Nations Championship qualifiers.

Following their demotion to the second-tier, Warri Wolves have been abandoned by their top stars, so Rohr was at the stadium to run the rule over the best players on the AS Racine team.

The German tactician has an excellent relationship with the coach of AS Racine, retired Nigeria international Victor Agali, and it is believed that the striker was one that convinced him to attend the game.

Rohr gave his approval for French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice to sign Victor Agali back in the 2004-2005 season while he was coaching The Eaglets.
