Crotone's Simy Comes Face To Face With Chelsea Target Belotti, Says He Has A Bright Future
Published: April 15, 2017
Crotone's Nigerian striker Simeon Nwankwo reckons that the much-coveted Torino striker Andrea Belotti is one of the best players in the Italian Serie A after coming face-to-face with the Italy international on Saturday.
The Chelsea target, who has a €100 million release clause inserted into his contract, opened scoring from the spot in the 66th minute, only for Nwankwo to restore parity with nine minutes left following his introduction.
''There's nothing special the coach told me before I entered the pitch, it's just the same thing, told me to do the best possible, '' said Simy to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''The important thing is to focus on the remaining games, and we'll see where we will finish at the end of the season.''
The Crotone number 99 added : ''Belotti is a good player, one of the best in Italy. Strikers have their good moment and this comes with different energy.
''He is scoring a lot of goals, he's a very good player with a bright future. ''
Simy joined Crotone from Gil Vicente last July and has tallied three goals for the Rossoblu in all competitions.
