Arsenal Striker Comes Close To Scoring First Goal For Republic Of Ireland Vs Czech Republic Arsenal wonderkid Armstrong Okoflex started for the Republic of Ireland U15s in their 4-2 loss to Czech Republic in an international friendly held in Brozany nad Ohri on Thursday.

The 15-year-old striker was joined in the starting lineup by another player of Nigerian descent, Villa's Timi Sobowale.

With the scoreboard reading 2-2, Republic of Ireland were unfortunate not to take the lead when Okoflex shot narrowly wide in the 34th minute.
