Exclusive: Success, Osimhen Handed Another Opportunity To Make Competitive Nigeria Debut
Published: April 30, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that ex-Golden Eaglets sensation Isaac Success and Victor Osimhen have been handed another opportunity to make their competitive international debut for the Super Eagles.
Both strikers are among the 19 foreign-based professionals called up to attend a training camp in Corsica, France, starting from May 24, ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa.
Watford wonderkid Isaac Success made his long-awaited international debut for Nigeria's senior national team when he was introduced in the 61st minute of their 1-1 draw with Senegal at the Hive Stadium last month.
His international bow might have come against Zambia six months ago, but he pulled out of the squad at the last minute citing injury.
As for Osimhen, the Wolfsburg starlet was first invited to the Super Eagles squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania but didn't make his debut.
