Chelsea Delay Decision On Signing Nigerian Prodigy Until After Pre-Season
Published: May 19, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that English Premier League champions Chelsea are still interested in signing Nigerian prodigy Toyosi Olusanya from AFC Wimbledon in the summer.
The Blues were given permission by The Dons to take him on trial last month, but have not made a decision on whether or not to offer him a contract.
Chelsea have invited Olusanya to participate in pre-season training and he will be offered a contract if he impresses.
The 19-year-old striker made his professional debut for AFC Wimbledon in their 1-0 win over Newport County in May 2016.
Manchester City are the other Premier League side monitoring the progress of Toyosi Olusanya with a view to a transfer.
