Official : Woking Announce Departure Of Kano-Born Defender Who Has Represented England

National League club Woking have announced that Ismail Yakubu, 32, won't be offered a new contract, ahead of the start of pre-season training.
The Cards have announced their retained list and Yakubu was among the six players shown the exit door following the expiration of their contracts.
Born in Kano, the defender joined Woking from Newport County, and scored 2 goals in 35 appearances for the club.
His other teams include Cambridge United, AFC Wimbledon and Barnet. Yakubu has six caps for England C team.
Meanwhile, Woking have confirmed the signing of the prolific striker Inih Effiong, who previously represented Biggleswade Town, Barrow AFC and St Albans City.
