Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City Stars, Eight Uncapped Players Named In Nigeria Squad To Face RSA

Nigeria national team coach Gernot Rohr has named a 23-man roster for the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Uyo on June 10.
Six players on the roster were not part of the Super Eagles training camp in Corsica and Paris, while Mountain of Fire FC pair Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatubosun have not been considered despite training with the team.
The six players are Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi, Zamalek's Moroof Youssef, Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo, Trabzonspor's Eddy Onazi, Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu and Gent winger Moses Simon.
Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses and Watford striker Isaac Success have been omitted from the squad list, and the Chinese-based players Obi Mikel, Brown Ideye and Odion Ighalo were snubbed by the German tactician.
A total of eight players are in search of their first appearance for the senior national team : Alampasu, Ebuehi, Youssef, Awaziem, Mikel , Alhassan , Onyekuru and Osimhen.
