Nigeria International Defender Set To Miss Champions League Final In Cardiff
Published: June 01, 2017
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, it is all but confirmed that Super Falcons star Ngozi Ebere will not be in action for Paris Saint-Germain when they tackle Lyon in the UEFA Women's Champions League final on Thursday.
The defender was not in PSG's traveling party to the Welsh capital, ahead of tonight's clash at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Ebere has found game time hard to come by in the last one year, with several France international players ahead of her in the pecking order of defenders.
PSG navigated their way past Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Kazygurt Shymkent and Lillestrom to qualify for the showpiece game against the defending champions in Cardiff.
Last season, Ferencváros striker Ebere Orji was the second top scorer in the Champions League with nine goals to her name.
