Official : Ex-Chelsea Striker, Who Trained With Golden Eaglets, Changes Clubs In England
Published: June 01, 2017
Through official channels, Ryman League Premier Division club Leatherhead have announced the capture of the signature of Nigerian striker Chike Kandi from Woking FC.
The 21-year-old began his career with the youth team of Birmingham City, before a dream move to Chelsea, where he signed his first professional contract in 2013 after starring for the youth team.
Without Kandi making his competitive debut for the Blues, he was released in 2014, then joined Brighton & Hove Albion on a two-year development contract.
Due to his lack of first team opportunities at the Seagulls, he was loaned out to Ryman League Premier Division Bognor Regis Town.
Born in London, Kandi has represented the youth teams of Wales and trained with the Golden Eaglets ahead of their participation in the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup.
