Nantes Set To Announce The Signing Of Newly Capped Super Eagles Defender

French Ligue 1 club Nantes are on the verge of announcing the signing of Nigeria international Chidozie Awaziem.Ouest France says the central defender will be used as makeweight in the deal taking Nantes manager Sergio Conceiçao to Porto, with the Nigerian moving in the opposite direction.
Awaziem is expected to join Nantes on a season-long loan, with an obligation to purchase the 20-year-old at the end of the 2017-2018 season for 12 million euros inserted into the deal.
The young center back has plied his trade at Porto since he started his professional career, and has accumulated 13 appearances for the first team, scoring one goal.
Chidozie Awaziem's solitary cap for the Nigerian senior team was against Togo three days ago.
