Exclusive : Arsenal's Iwobi, Simon Start, Chelsea's Omeruo Dropped As Nigeria Announce Starting XI vs RSASuper Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has released his starting lineup for his side's African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, starting from 1700 hours.

Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi will be in goal, and the German has fielded a back four with William Troost-Ekong, Chidozie Awaziem, Abdullahi Shehu and Elderson Echiejile all starting.

It means Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo, who had only three training sessions with the team in the last seventeen days, starts on the bench.

CD Feirense star Oghenekaro Etebo has gotten the nod over John Ogu in midfield, captain Eddy Onazi and Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi also start.

Upfront, the  the triumvirate of Arsenal's Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon and Kelechi Iheanacho will start the match.
