 Nigerian Defender, Whose Russian Mom Taught Maths In Bida Niger State, Joins FC UralThrough official channels, Russian Premier League club FC Ural have announced that they have completed the signing of Russian-Nigerian defender Adesoye Oyewole.

The duration and financial details of the contract were not disclosed by the Yekaterinburg based club.

A defensive midfielder or central defender, Oyewole is returning to Ural for a second spell, having worn the jersey of the club from 2007-2015.

The 34-year-old started off his career with the youth team of FC Zhemchuzhina Sochi and lists FC Reutov,  FC Sibir Novosibirsk and FC Gazovik Orenburg among his former clubs.

Last season, Oyewole played 31 games in all competitions for past club Orenburg, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

He was born in Moscow to a Nigerian dad and Russian mom, who used to teach Mathematics in a secondary school in Bida, Niger State.
