QPR, Bolton & Nottingham Forest In Three-Way Battle To Sign Ex-Flying Eagles Winger
Published: June 13, 2017
Queens Park Rangers, Bolton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest are chasing former Nigeria U20 international Sammy Ameobi, according to reports.
The winger will become a free agent in the next 18 days after he was informed by Newcastle United he won't be offered a new deal and this has alerted a couple of Championship clubs about his availability.
Get West London says QPR and Nottingham Forest are interested in Ameobi, while the Trotters are hoping to bring him back to BL6 6JW, where he spent a portion of the 2016-2017 season.
Sammy Ameobi was regarded as one of the best young talents at Newcastle United, and made his debut for the Magpies shortly after his 19th birthday.
He has played 49 games in the Championship, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
