Tottenham Hotspur chief scout Steve Hitchen ran the rule over the top talents in the England squad during the recently concluded Tournoi Maurice Revello (Toulon Tournament) in France.
According to the authoritative Scouts In Attendance, Hitchen was at the Toulon tournament and watched group matches involving England, Wales and France.
Two players of Nigerian descent in the shape of Ike Ugbo and Tariq Uwakwe, who has been billed as the New Mikel in Nigeria, were on parade for England's mixed aged group.
The prolific Chelsea striker Ugbo netted the only goal of the game in England's 1-0 win over Angola, with Uwakwe involved in the build-up to the goal.
Both players came off the bench in the second half in the showpiece game against Ivory Coast last Saturday.
The two teenagers were key members of the Chelsea squad that won the treble last season.
