Olympiakos Reignite Interest In Watford Striker Stefano Okaka
Published: June 22, 2017
Greek Super League champions Olympiakos have reignited their interest in Watford's Nigerian striker Stefano Okaka, according to matching press reports in the Greek and Italian media.
Gazzetta.gr says Olympiakos will have to make a fresh move for Okaka after Congolese attacker Dieumerci Mbokani failed his medical examination on Tuesday.
The Hornets star had been on the wishlist of manager Besnik Hasi before The Reds moved secretly and agreed with Mbokani.
It will be a reunion of sorts for Hasi and Okaka if the transfer materializes as the retired Albania international coached him at RSC Anderlecht during the 2015-2016 season.
Previously, Okaka played for Roma, Sampdoria, Parma, Bari and Fulham among others.
