Football's Most Expensive 14-Year-Old Sheyi Ojo On Newcastle, Burnley Radar
Published: June 23, 2017
Premier League side Newcastle United and Burnley are interested in the signature of Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo this summer.
Sky Sports says Ojo is willing to be farmed out on loan for the third time in his Reds career, with the arrival of Egypt star Salah set to limit his first-team opportunities in the new season.
The exciting winger played on a regular basis while on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.
Hemel Hempstead-born Sheyi Ojo joined Liverpool from Milton Keynes Dons in November 2011, and has made 13 appearances for the first team in all competitions since his debut.
Ojo still holds the record for the most expensive transfer fee paid for a 14-year-old after Liverpool signed him for a reported 2.13 million pounds.
