Everton Agree To Sell Chelsea Target To Manchester United For N34 Billion
Published: July 06, 2017
Everton have agreed a 75 million pounds (approximately N34 billion) deal to sell their top star Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, according to reports.
The BBC writes on its website that the move for Lukaku is not connected to talks aimed at taking England striker Wayne Rooney to Everton.
If the transfer materializes, the Red Devils will be forced their end their pursuit of Alvaro Morata, who is valued in the region of £79 million by Real Madrid.
Manager Jose Mourinho is hoping the transfer of Lukaku will be completed before the squad travels to the United States for pre-season training.
Lukaku is managed by the same intermediary that handles the affairs of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who were signed by Manchester United last summer.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with a transfer to old club Chelsea this summer.
