Official : Chelsea Announce Signing Of Germany International Of Sierra Leonean Descent

Premier League champions Chelsea have announced the signing of Germany international of Sierra Leonean descent Antonio Rüdiger from AS Roma.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Technical Director Michael Emenalo told Chelsea's official website : ''We are pleased to be able to bring in a player of proven quality who adds to our defensive options.
''Antonio is still young but is experienced at club and international level and possesses all the requisite attributes to thrive in the Premier League.
''We have been aware of him for some time and we are confident he will fit in well with the squad''.
For the upcoming season, Antonio Rüdiger will wear the number two kit.
