Two New Signings Debut As Manchester United Thrash LA Galaxy 5-2 In Friendly

Manchester United began their pre-season schedule with a 5-2 thrashing of LA Galaxy in front of 25,667 spectators at StubHub Center on Saturday evening.
Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho handed debuts to new signings Victor Lindelöf and Romelu Lukaku, who joined the club in the summer transfer window from Benfica and Everton respectively.
After 72 minutes, Manchester United were 5-0 up courtesy of Marcus Rashford's brace and strikes from Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial and Hentrikh Mkhitaryan.
In the closing minutes of the contest, former Tottenham Hotspur striker Giovanni dos Santos bagged a brace but the team from Los Angeles could not score more.
Manchester United play Real Salt Lake in their next friendly on July 17.
