Chelsea Defender Kurt Zouma : Moses Advised Me To Join Stoke City (Ahead Of Crystal Palace)
Published: July 21, 2017
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has admitted that he sought advice from his teammates, who represented Stoke City in the past, before reaching a decision to join The Potters on a season-long loan.
The France international has not revealed the identities of these teammates, however, Nigeria international Victor Moses and the Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel previously defended the colours of Stoke City on loan.
“The manager spoke very well and I also spoke to a few of my teammates at Chelsea, who had played here before, and they had many very good things to say,” Zouma told stokecity.com.
“They told me that I would be made to feel very welcome here, that I would be looked after and that the group of players here would help me to settle straight in.”
The 22-year-old Zouma was linked with Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Everton before he agreed terms with the Potters.
