Nigerian Midfielder Dele-Bashiru Scores Twice For Manchester City In Friendly Win

Manchester City U23s thrashed a Croatian regional team 6-0 in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
The promising English-born Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru, who has stated that he would love to play for the Super Eagles in future, helped himself to two goals.
Richards (2), Jacob Davenport and Smith also registered their names on the score-sheet in the routine win for The Citizens youngsters.
Last season, Dele-Bashiru netted seven times for City's U18s squad, and might feature on a regular basis for the Reserve team in the 2017-2018 campaign if he continues his fine form in pre-season.
The 17-year-old has played nonstop at Manchester City for the past eleven years.
