Liverpool Demand N4.7 Billion From Newcastle United For Nigerian Winger
Published: July 24, 2017
Liverpool have made it crystal clear that Newcastle United will have to meet their asking price before signing England U20 international of Nigerian descent Sheyi Ojo.
The Sun says The Reds have slapped a £10 million (N4.7 billion) price tag on Sheyi Ojo amid interest from Newcastle.
Manager Rafa Benitez has considered signing Ojo as a priority this summer and had reached an agreement with Jurgen Klopp, only for the newly promoted Premier League club to make a lesser bid, which has dented their hopes of completing the transfer of the wide midfielder.
The 20-year-old has been permitted to talk to other interested clubs including Fulham, Middlesbrough and Derby about a season-long loan.
