No Training For Chesela's Victor Moses, Tomori Until Five Days Before Facing Arsenal
Published: July 30, 2017
Nigerian right wing-backs Victor Moses and Fikayo Tomori landed in the English capital on Sunday morning following their tour of Asia, where they participated in the International Champions Cup and faced Arsenal in a friendly.
The Blues manager Antonio Conte has decided to give the players two days off after the long trip from Singapore and to enable them recharge their batteries.
Ahead of the annual curtain- raiser against Arsenal next Sunday, Moses, Tomori and other first-teamers will resume training at Cobham on Tuesday, August 1.
Chelsea would have topped their group in the International Champions Cup if they had beaten Inter Milan by two goals on Saturday, but they lost to the Italians despite a spirited second-half fight-back.
The Premier League champions thrashed Arsenal 3-0 in Beijing before narrowly losing their next two fixtures.
