Official : Chelsea Confirm Matic Has Joined Manchester United On Three-Year Deal

Premier League champions Chelsea and Manchester United have confirmed that Serbia international Nemanja Matic has joined the Old Trafford outfit on a three-year deal.
United have an option to extend Matic's deal by an additional twelve months on or before the end of the 2019-2020 season.
After signing the contract, the defensive midfielder said : ''I am delighted to have joined Manchester United. To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.
"I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them.
"This is a very exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to playing my part in creating more history for this great club."
For the upcoming season, the former Benfica and Košice star has been handed the number 31 jersey.
