Done Deal: Promising Goalkeeper Departs Liverpool For The First Time In Ten Years

Liverpool have announced that young goalkeeper Shamal George penned a new contract with the club and has been loaned out to League Two side Carlisle United until January.
The financial terms and length of the new deal signed by the glovesman have not been disclosed.
The 19-year-old George featured for the Reds U18s and U23s teams last season, and was included in the first-team squad for their 2016 pre-season tour of the United States.
Born in Wirral, Shamal George joined Liverpool in 2009 after he was spotted by their talent hunters while defending the colours of local club Manor FC.
He played as a striker in a pre-season friendly against Huddersfield Town in 2016.
