Super Eagles Attacker Makes Champions League Debut For CSKA MoscowNigeria international Aaron Samuel has made his Champions League debut for Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow.

The powerful striker played his first-ever game in the world's premier club competition when he was introduced in the 69th minute of CSKA's 1-0 win over AEK Athens at the VEB Arena in Moscow on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old Samuel was an unused substitute in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League against the Greek opponents.

CSKA are through to the playoff round following their 3-0 aggregate win over AEK Athens.

Emmanuel Emenike's Olympiakos have also advanced to the playoff round, while Dennis Bonaventure and Club Brugge have been knocked out.
