Details Of Chelsea Training Session: Moses, Tomori Train For One Hour, Morata Returns Early, Pedro Wears Mask
Published: August 03, 2017
Chelsea continued their preparations for Sunday's Community Shield showdown against Arsenal, with the first-team squad returning to training at Cobham on Wednesday.
Manager Antonio Conte had given the players three days off because they were exhausted after playing three matches in a week during their tour of China and Singapore.
Record signing Alvaro Morata is short on fitness, the striker reported to Cobham a day before the first-teamers, and trained with the recovering injured players Hazard, Bakayoko and Pedro.
Chelsea expert CarefreeYouth told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Defenders were out around 3pm until 4pm, then they went in for gym work while the midfielders and forwards were outside at 4-5pm.
''The midfielders and strikers were in the gym first while the defenders were outside.''
Spain international Pedro wore a protective mask while training on Wednesday, after suffering multiple fractures in the friendly against Arsenal on July 22.
