Manchester United And Chelsea Set For Another Transfer Tussle Over Barcelona Midfielder
Published: August 06, 2017
Manchester United are mulling over a bid for Barcelona star Sergi Roberto, according to matching reports in the English and Spanish press.
Don Balon says up to three teams including Manchester United, Chelsea and Monaco are exploring ways to sign the central midfielder.
Last season, Roberto was the hero when Barcelona performed a football miracle by beating Paris Saint Germain 6-1 in the Champions League, after he came off the bench to score in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Manchester United will certainly be happy as Barcelona's asking price for the Spain international is not inflated, only forty million euros.
Sergi Roberto has a contract with the Azulgranas until June 30, 2019.
