Published: August 07, 2017
Premier League side Manchester United are set to announce two outgoing transfers this week.
As earlier reported, the promising defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has agreed a season-long loan move to Leeds United and is in contention to make his home debut in the Championship against Preston North End.
Manchester Evening News is reporting that Guillermo Varela is on his way back to Penarol after falling out of favor at Manchester United.
The Uruguayan right-back previously spent time on loan at Real Madrid Castilla and Eintracht Frankfurt, but it is envisaged that he will be acquired on a permanent basis by his former club Penarol.
The 24-year-old Varela joined Manchester United in the summer of 2013 and featured 11 times for the first team.
