Published: August 07, 2017
Crystal Palace are set to confirm the capture of the signature of Netherlands youth international Timothy Fosu-Mensah in the coming days.
The Manchester United defender has arrived in the English capital to undergo a medical with the Eagles ahead of a season-long loan move, according to various reports.
Fosu-Mensah has not been guaranteed playing opportunities by manager Jose Mourinho in the new season, and the Portuguese has sanctioned his temporary departure to Crystal Palace in order to continue his development.
Aged 19, he made his debut for the Red Devils against Arsenal in the Premier League in February 2016, and has appeared 21 times for the first team in all competitions.
He moved to Manchester United in 2014 from Dutch powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam.
