Exclusive: Nigeria U17 Captain Igho Training With Scandinavia Powerhouse Rosenborg BK
Published: August 09, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Scandinavian powerhouse Rosenborg BK have started running the rule over Nigeria U17 captain Igho Ogbu.
The versatile midfielder arrived in Trondheim on Tuesday and trained for the first time with Rosenborg on Wednesday.
It should be noted that Ogbu is being observed by the coaching staff led by Kåre Ingebrigtsen with a view to a transfer in the winter transfer market as he won't celebrate his 18th birthday until February 2018.
The highly-rated youngster will be monitored at close quarters for three to four weeks before the 24-time Norwegian champions make a decision on whether or not he will be offered a contract.
Igho Ogbu is currently on the payroll of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Gombe United.
