Chelsea's Nigerian Right Wing-Back Linked With Transfer To Hull City
Published: August 11, 2017
Nigerian starlet Fikayo Tomori is being linked with an exit from Chelsea before the close of the transfer window.
Chelsea Youth says Tomori, who has been transformed into a right wing-back by manager Antonio Conte in pre-season, is expected to join a Championship club in the event that Chelsea sign more players.
Ambitious Championship outfit Hull City are runaway favorites for the signature of the England U20 international.
The Canadian-born defender was left out of the Community Shield squad despite first-choice right wing-back Victor Moses suspended for Saturday's game versus Burnley, and this has fueled speculation that he is not in the plans for the first team.
Only yesterday, Tomori was part of the non-bib wearing team during training, which indicates that he is set to be omitted from the starting line-up against The Clarets.
