Manchester United Close To Signing N23.4B-Rated Inter Milan Star Linked With Barcelona
Published: August 13, 2017
Manchester United are closing in on a move for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper claims that United have had two bids for the player rejected, but it is believed that they are close to meeting the Serie A giants asking price, after holding fruitful talks with his agent, Fali Ramadani
Ivan Perisic joined Inter Milan from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 for less than 20 million euros, and the Serie A club will make a tidy profit if they receive €55 million (N23.4 billion) from the Premier League team.
The coach of the Nerazzurri Luciano Spalletti has clearly opposed the sale of the Croatia international to Manchester United, stressing that it will be hard to find a replacement for the player
Barcelona will attempt to sign Perisic if they fail to land their number one target Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
