England Legend Aims Dig At Manchester United For Not Signing Neymar
Published: August 15, 2017
Former Manchester United and England legend Rio Ferdinand is disappointed that the Red Devils missed out on the signature of ex-Barcelona winger Neymar despite having the financial muscle to compete with PSG.
The Brazil international had been linked with a shift to Manchester United before PSG broke the world transfer record to bring him to the French capital.
"Neymar’s up for £196m… Man United are one of the richest clubs in the world," Ferdinand told his Youtube channel Five.
"I would have loved to have seen him go to Manchester United.
