Chelsea Announce Promising Winger Has Penned New Deal Until 2019

Through their official website, Premier League champions Chelsea have confirmed that promising winger Charlie Wakefield has signed a new deal with the club.
Wakefield has been registered by The Blues for the Checkatrade Trophy but did not make the 18-man squad for the clash against League One side Plymouth at Home Park on Tuesday night.
Chelsea said in a statement : '' In other Academy news, winger Charlie Wakefield has signed a new contract at the club.
''The 19-year-old joined from Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of his Under-12 year and now commits himself until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.''
For the remainder of the 2017-2018 season, Wakefield has been handed the number 49 shirt.
