Done Deal : Manchester United To Announce Fourth Major Signing This Week?
Published: August 20, 2017
Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to sign a new deal with Manchester United this week, according to reports.
ESPN claims the attacker's new contract will be announced earlier than anticipated due to the former Sweden international's quick recovery.
Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals across all competitions in his first season in England, and has been on the sidelines after suffering a horror knee injury in Manchester United's Europa League clash against Anderlecht four months ago.
As a result of the injury, the Red Devils chose not to activate the additional year in his contract at the end of last season.
This summer, Ibrahimovic has been targeted by his former club AC Milan and Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy, but the 35-year-old prefers to continue his career at Old Trafford.
