Chelsea Set To Beat Liverpool To The Signature Of Arsenal Star

Chelsea are on the brink of announcing the signing of England star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to various reports in the English press.
Sky Sports claims the Premier League champions have agreed a fee with Arsenal for the transfer of the highly-rated winger.
Oxlade-Chamberlain does not want to prolong his contract with the Gunners beyond 2018 and is set to depart the Emirates this week, with Chelsea expected to pay 35 million pounds for his signature.
Liverpool are also interested in signing the former Southampton wonderkid and are hoping to snatch him from under the noses of Chelsea.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has played in Arsenal since 2011, and has recorded 198 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 20 goals.
